Wedding Photo Booth Rentals in Seattle, WA
A photo booth is one of the few wedding elements that every age group uses. We handle everything from load-in to teardown - attendant on-site all night, unlimited prints, and a custom design built for your wedding. Check it off your vendor list and know it's covered.
A Wedding Photo Booth That Guests Actually Use
A photo booth works at a wedding when it's positioned correctly and staffed well. Set up near the bar or at the entrance to the reception hall, guests find it on their own and keep coming back. Tucked in a corner near the coat check, it gets forgotten by 8pm. We handle placement, and our attendant keeps the line moving all night.
Every session ends with a print in the guest's hand - your names and wedding date on the layout, out of the machine immediately. Guests take them home the same night. They don't disappear into a photographer's queue for weeks or get buried in a shared album no one checks.
Easy setup that fits into your reception timeline
We coordinate load-in timing with your venue coordinator and have the booth fully running before cocktail hour starts. You are not chasing a vendor on your wedding day - we handle our piece start to finish.
Keeps guests engaged between dances and dinner
The slow spots in a reception - transitions between courses, gaps in the music, the stretch after the first dance - are when guests drift. A photo booth gives them somewhere to go that's social and active. It moves in waves, which keeps foot traffic light instead of everyone queuing at once.
Prints and digital copies guests take home the same night
Instant prints are standard. Guests who also want a digital copy can text or email it to themselves directly from the booth. The photos travel home the same night - not in a download link that expires or a shared folder no one bookmarks.
Planning a Seattle Wedding? Here's What to Expect
Seattle weddings come with specific logistics. Here's what we plan around so you don't have to.
Indoor setups for unpredictable weather
A June evening in Seattle can go either way. We position for indoor placement as the default, not the backup. If the outdoor plan shifts at the last minute, we're already set up inside. Most couples with outdoor receptions figure this out the hard way with other vendors - we have it sorted before the day starts.
Working within venue rules and tight floor plans
The Edgewater, Sodo Park, Willows Lodge, and Fremont Foundry each have their own load-in process, floor plan restrictions, and power setup. We've worked enough Seattle venues to ask the right questions before the day arrives. There's no standing in a ballroom at 3pm trying to figure out where the outlets are.
Coordinating with planners, DJs, and venue staff
A wedding involves a lot of vendors working in the same space at the same time. We coordinate directly with whoever needs to know our setup - your planner, your venue coordinator, your DJ - so the booth doesn't create scheduling friction. Give us a contact and we'll sort the details without pulling you in.
Wedding Photo Booth Options
Different receptions call for different setups. Here's what we offer and when each one makes sense.
Open-air booths for group photos and busy receptions
Open-air setups handle volume well. More guests fit into a single frame, the line moves faster, and placement is flexible for rooms where you're working around tables and a dance floor. For receptions over 100 guests, this is usually the right call - more throughput and no enclosure limiting group size.
Enclosed booths for a more private, classic feel
An enclosed booth gives guests a moment that's separate from the rest of the evening. The curtain closes and it becomes its own small experience. This style works well at more intimate receptions where the guest experience per person matters more than throughput - the people who use it tend to remember it.
360 video booth for modern weddings and social sharing
The 360 platform is for couples who want content that lives past the wedding day. Slow-motion clips guests can post immediately after their turn. If you're active on social media or want something different from what every other wedding offers, this format delivers that without replacing the print experience.
Custom backdrops, props, and wedding-themed templates
The backdrop and print template are what make the booth feel like it belongs at your wedding. We work with you before the event on design - your colors, your names and date, a layout that fits your aesthetic. Props can be tailored as well. Just tell us at booking what you're going for and we'll sort it.
What's Included With Your Wedding Rental
Everything below is standard with every wedding booking. No upgrades required to get the basics - this is what every rental comes with.
On-site attendant to guide guests and manage the booth
An attendant stays with the booth the full rental window. They help guests get set up, keep the line moving, handle any technical issues, and manage setup and teardown on both ends. They're there so you're not responsible for any of it.
Unlimited sessions and high-quality prints
No cap on sessions, no limit on prints. Guests can come back as many times as they like and every print comes out immediately. No waiting, no app, no link - a physical photo in their hands before they leave the booth.
Custom print design with your names, date, or wedding theme
We design a print layout before the event using your names, wedding date, and the direction you give us on colors and style. The design is finalized in the days before the wedding so you can approve it. Guests get a print that's specific to your day, not a generic template.
Digital gallery for you and your guests after the event
After the wedding you'll receive a digital gallery with every photo taken at the booth that night. Share it with guests, download favorites, or keep it as a record of who was there. It comes to you automatically - you don't need to request it or track it down.
Why Couples in Seattle Book With Us
What clients bring up when they explain why they came to us or passed our name on to a friend.
Local experience with Seattle wedding venues
We've worked receptions across Seattle and the Eastside - not just wherever a company happens to send crews. That means we already know the load-in situation, the floor plan constraints, and the timing quirks of the spaces where Seattle couples actually get married.
Clear communication leading up to your wedding day
From the time you book to the morning of the event, you have a direct contact. We confirm details as your date gets closer, remind you of anything we need from the venue, and make sure nothing is unclear before the day starts. No chasing a reply the week before your wedding.
Fully insured for hotel and venue requirements
We carry liability insurance on every job and can provide documentation to venue coordinators before the event. Most Seattle hotel ballrooms and event spaces require proof of coverage - we have it ready and send it before you have to ask for it.
Reliable setup with backup equipment ready
We bring backup components to every event. If something stops working, the attendant handles it - usually in a few minutes without guests noticing. We don't show up to your wedding without a contingency. That's not a standard we apply selectively.
What to Know Before You Add Us to Your Vendor List
Insurance documentation sent before your venue asks for it
We carry liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue coordinator as soon as you need it. Most Seattle hotel venues and formal event spaces require proof of coverage from every vendor. We send it proactively once you let us know the venue contact - you're not chasing us down for paperwork in the week before your wedding.
Owner-operated - you talk to the same people who show up
Seattle Photo Booth is locally owned and based in North Seattle. When you call to book, you're talking to the people who will actually be at your wedding. There's no booking platform that assigns a contractor after the fact, no disconnect between who you planned with and who arrives at your venue.

What couples ask before they book.
How much does a wedding photo booth rental cost in Seattle?
Pricing depends on the booth type, number of hours, and any customization - custom print design, specific backdrops, a 360 video platform. Call or email with your wedding date and we'll put together a clear quote for your setup. No ballpark ranges that shift when you actually try to book.
How many hours should we book for our reception?
Most Seattle wedding receptions work well with 3 to 4 hours - that covers cocktail hour through the tail end of the evening. For larger guest counts or longer receptions, 4 to 5 hours is sometimes the right call. Tell us your guest count and reception schedule and we'll give you an honest recommendation rather than just pushing the longer booking.
Can the print design match our wedding theme?
Yes. Every wedding rental includes a custom print layout. We design it before the event using your names, wedding date, and the direction you give us on colors and style. You'll see the design before the wedding and can request adjustments. Guests walk away with something specific to your day.
Do you arrive early for setup before guests arrive?
Yes. We coordinate load-in timing directly with your venue coordinator and arrive early enough to have everything running before cocktail hour starts. Setup is planned in advance - we are not figuring out the floor plan or power situation while your guests are walking in.
Is there a limit to how many photos guests can take?
No limit. Every rental includes unlimited sessions and unlimited prints for the full booking window. Guests can come back as many times as they want and print as many copies as they like. We don't cap it at any number.
What space and power do you need at the venue?
Most setups need roughly an 8 by 8 foot footprint and access to a standard 110V outlet within 25 feet. We review venue specs ahead of the event and coordinate directly with your venue contact on the specifics - so you're not the one relaying technical questions between us and the venue coordinator.
How far in advance should we reserve our date?
For Seattle weddings - especially May through September - 3 to 6 months ahead is a safe window. Summer Saturdays book up quickly. If you have a venue locked in and a firm date, reach out as soon as you can. We'll confirm availability and hold the date once a deposit is in place.
